LTO Network — LowSea Leasing Node update (15th of October 2022)

What a blast this weekend was. A huge pump in a bear market with tremendous volume. It’s not too weird there’s a retrace, but let’s hope a higher low is established and we can enjoy more recognition from there. If anything, it would be great if the suppression we’ve seen these last few months would be finally over. With plenty of stuff coming and under development, it’s only a matter of time we’ll break that 1200 sats obstacle on the LTO/BTC pair and preferably do that (or keep those levels) during the bull season.

For now, sit back and check what we’ve seen in the last two weeks… and to be fair, it has not been a massive news period, but we did get a few updates. 🤟

First of all, Proofi public Beta is nearly ready. And it mentions something for NFTs, which will be interesting to see how those dots connect. 🤔 Next to that, work on Ownables alpha on testnet continues and is almost ready for public sharing/testing on testnet. 🙌😎 I look forward to play around with it and see some of the tech at work.

In the telegram channel there was the chance to be part of the wallet closed alpha testing. A few active members of the community have been chosen and the closed alpha should be on its way soon where the testers can share their findings. The first glimpse of the wallet in the video showed its clean layout and I’m hoping to be able to test the wallet myself too. 👀

We’ve also seen some activity from one of LTO serving exchanges: Coinmetro. They’ve released a partner blog introducing LTO’s progress to their users. More activity on their end should be coming up in the near future.

Another exchange that has been vocally present in our community lately is Coinmerce, a Dutch exchange that was superfast with integrating LTO Network’s mainnet. They will be introducing LTO staking soon too is the word on the street.

Apart from that we saw some community activity. Here’s the hoodie poll that was thrown on Twitter. I definitely digging option 1. 🤩🔥

And then there was an Ownables word hunt on the Ownables discord channel to win such a hoodie!

To close out our quick overview is the 2022 recap that LTO threw out yesterday. Nothing new, but a nice revisit of the big things that are going on. Easy to share and great for all the new people that found LTO over this weekend with the huge pump in volume that was seen.
